Robert creates a a completely new arrangement for cello and piano of Schubert’s dramatic and tragic 24 songs Winterreise (Winter journey). As songs without words, Robert’s arrangement penetrates the the pure musical impact of Schuberts’s profound music, while being informed by the original 24 poems by Wilhelm Müller, set to two sets of 12 songs.
